OK, its apparent fall is here and the market is still flying along nicely. I decided to do a little studying, and will be listing over the next couple of weeks a area by area break down for selling price, and average days on the market. My first area I looked at was Chilliwack, single family detached, now this is a big area which included Little mountain, and Fairfield Island as well.
Here is how the numbers shook out.
Average Days on Market 49 Days compared to 36 Days for the overall Chilliwack Board Area
Average Listing Price $368000 compared to $493000 for the Overall
Average Sale Price $324000 compared to $350000 for the Overall
